Team Kini Bini is dedicated to carrying on the legacy of Keira Nicole Christie. This incredible girl saved the life of another through organ donation when she became an angel in October 2017 from an asthma attack. Keira was eleven and attended Lakeview Intermediate School and lived in Stow, Ohio with her family. She was able to donate her kidneys, liver, and eye corneas to Lifebanc.
Her liver was successfully transplanted into a nine year old girl who is now thirteen and a cheerleader at her school.
We are committed to helping Lifebanc carry on their important work by raising funds and awareness of the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donations in Keira's honor each year. Team Kini Bini is a group of dedicated family, friends, and loved ones who participate in Lifebanc's annual Gift of Life Walk and Run in honor of Keira. We also promote and participate in other events.
